B6- Whole cycle or just after O?
| Tue, 08-21-2012 - 6:17pm |
I remember taking B6 when I conceived my daughter, but I forget when to take it!
Do I take it my whole cycle or just after O is confimed on FF?
I have 100 mg and was planning on taking it in the morning. AF looks to have arrived and we will start TTC this month!
Thanks!
Elizabeth
A 13-14 day LP is very good. I wouldn't think you'd need B6...unless you still want to take it for PMS, but hopefully you won't have PMS for too much longer, either

Well, I wouldn't necessarily say it will "delay" O...but it will "normalize" your cycle (if there is such a thing as normal, LOL). So if your luteal phase is short because of progesterone issues, it can help bring up your progesterone and give you a healthier-length LP.

I'd start out by taking it for the whole cycle, at least this first time, to build it up in your system. If it works effectively, you can try dropping down to just after O, but I think you'll need it the whole time to be most effective.
