Can I tell if I'm Oing every month?

Hi. I've been a lurker here off and on for a few months, but I've only posted once (or maybe twice?) before. I'm just getting frustrated with my signs, and I wonder if you had any thoughts to share.

AF came today, officially ending my 2nd cycle of TTC. I'm a little disappointed, but not upset. However, I was looking over my charts and started wondering a bit. They're just so hard to read, even FF can't usually figure them out (of my last 4 cycles, it's been sure of 1 O day, unsure of 2, and not even willing to guess on the last one). I've been assuming my signs are just funky, but how can you tell if you're even ovulating? My understanding is that AF can still come during anovulatory cycles, so how do you know for sure?

I know these things take time, even when you're BDing as close to suspected O as possible, and 2-3 cycles of TTC is nothing. But I'm getting frustrated by conflicting signs. My temps are sporadically up and down, and I get a few days of EWCM randomly throughout the cycles. My DD (age 2) still BFs 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night, so maybe that's screwing things up. The only thing consistent is the cycle length. What do you think?

(I'd show you my last few charts on FF, but I only know how to share the current one.)

I figured out how to make a ticker to click on. Maybe that will help. TIA!

Thanks for replying. Yes, I usually temp at the same time every day. If not, it shows an empty circle on FF so I know remember it might not be accurate. And yes again, I'm using a BBT. However, it's one that shows the temp with 2 numbers after the decimal (ie. 97.36), and I usually ignore the 2nd number. Is that bad? I can round up, or get a new BBT, or whatever.

My biggest problem last cycle was that our whole family went through a round of the stomach flu (several days between when each of us was hit), and it disrupted my sleep a lot so I couldn't always temp. I've used OPKs during the last 3 cycles, and it's been 13-14 days between +OPK and AF.

Thanks again! So far this month is a lot more normal looking, so I'm hopeful!
