I have charted my bbt off and on for over a decade.  I have always run high 96's pre-O and low 97's post-O.  My cycles have been fairly regular 28-32 days with a few odd exceptions (both longer and shorter).  I am now in my early 40's and was wondering if there is anything else besides pregnancy that could cause my period to be almost 2 weeks late and my temp  to be in the low-mid 98's? (started taking my temp this cycle at around cd36)

FWIW, dh and I are not trying to get pregnant, but other than attempting to avoid sex between cd9 and cd18ish we are not using any form of birth control.

Hi, it's really hard to say, but if you think it's possible, you should take a test.  If you're like me, your cycles are starting to be irregular...and that can mean longer cycles as well as shorter cycles.   Also, it sounds like your temps run a bit lower than average, which could indicate a thyroid imbalance...and those imbalances can also mess with your cycle.  So I guess I'd start with the first...a pregnancy test.  If that's negative, I'd schedule a doctor's appointment...some simple labwork might elicit the reason for your longer cycle, or you might just find out that you're getting to that age and things are getting irregular.  (I'm right there with you...but my cycles are shorter than average).

BTW, in this case the odd symptoms really were pregnancy symptoms. I am due Easter weekend.

Congrats, Lisa.  What a lovely Easter gift :smileyhappy: My twin cousins arrived early on Easter morning...uh...23 years ago now I guess it is.  The Easter bunny wouldn't be able to "deliver" them now though, strapping young lads that they've become!  I hope that all goes well with your pregnancy.
