Difference in BBT after getting up

I was wondering if anyone know how much of a temp spike to expect if taking temp after getting out of bed. I have on occassion had to get up prior to temping, I have put my therm in my mouth immediately after standing up and prior to brushing teeth or drinking/eating. I realize this is not optimum but curious to see if anyone else has had to do this and if they noticed a significant rise.

Well it can be different for everyone...some women can get away with moving around a bit, while others absolutely must temp in bed.

Thanks Sue, I agree I would rather stay in bed. Unfortunately my 12 yr old lab is pretty dependent on us since he can't stand up on his own, so from time to time I have to get up before I get a chance to temp if he starts barking for water. I will try the dual temping, thanks for the suggestion.

Ah, well that makes sense as to why you have to get up quickly.
