This is xposted from TTC in hopes of getting some answers :( I knew I hated those damn OPK's! I am so confused! So the whole time I took OPK's I never got a positive...just to mess around I had 2 left over and knew you *cooooould* use them to pick up PG...biggest darkest line EVER! Decided after work this AM I would go pick up a test...took a FRER and it was negative. I had held it for like 4 1/2 hours but was drinking throughout that time. I dipped my last O test in the same U and it was way light again. So just in case my urine wasn't conc. enough I waited til I woke up and took a CVS brand one and it was negative too. I can say I'm disappointed but deep down I knew I was going to see a negative...I just don't feel like that time in my life should be here yet for some reason. We did BD this morning so for some freaky reason I JUST HAPPENED to randomly test with the O test and pick up real O we may/may not be covered. Doesn't explain my temps though...Anyone heard of false positives on O tests?! I would think it would be close to impossible?? That and I have NEVER had a cycle longer than 31 days and I'm already at CD 26! I'm having O pains but pretty much always have O pains. I did seem like this cycle was my R ovary which is the one I had surgery one so it makes me think it's jacked up :( I have to take my temps at different time because I work nights but you can still definitely see a pattern. Temps are still up...Should I trust the temps or does the OPK trump all? I attached the pics of the OPK's so I would feel not so crazy...that is a huge positive correct, it is actually darker in person than in the pics! :(

Good thing I read your chart header about your night shift work and unreliable temps.

Thank you so so much Sue! I truly think it is the night shift thing...I really think my body is on a night shift. I get better temps if I temp in the afternoon like if I were working that night. The problem with watching my body is I pretty much always have O pains...I had to have surgery on my right ovary for a solid/fluid-filled cyst and it was growing from the inside out of my ovary. I have always wondered if it worked right...now I'm starting to think it's a little messed up! Thank you for the reply...I'll just continue with the waiting game :)
