New to temping, and COMPLETELY lost

Hey ladies,

I'm usually a visitor of the PCOS board, but was hoping you could help me.

I've tried temping in the past, but with young children it just wasn't possible (waking different times, etc). We're ttc now and figured I"d give it a try....I thought my chart looked ok, a lot better than previous times, but I'm confused...

From what I know, my chart looks good, however I ovulated over 14 days ago and still no period. Now, from my knowledge you will have a cycle 14dpo....but I haven't.

Not pregnant, at least the PG test a few days ago said no...so I'm wondering, am I missing something? My temps don't show that I may have ovluated later, so I'm really confused.

My cycles are regulating due to Vitex. My last cycle was 41 days so from my personal experience w/Vitex my cycle length should be less...just concerned as to why my temps are still high.

Here's my chart:

Any ideas? Thanks in advance....

Pamela

Thank you!

I figured I o'd, the chart looked good...as far as PG, I doubt it. We didn't BD around ovulation, unless we did and I forgot to note it! I'm feeling horrible....worse than my normal PCOS symptoms. Just really have no idea what is going on.

I really think I o'd around cd16 or 17, but I would've had my cycle already since I'm way past 14dpo....

Still confused, but all I can do is wait at this point. I ordered some PG tests online, figure I'll take another with FMU when I get htem IF AF hasn't started...

Thanks for your reply !!!

Well it's never over til the old lady sings...remember, sperm can live up to 5 days in a fertile environment, so you never know but what one was lurking about waiting to play when the eggie popped.

Thanks hun, I appreciate it. I'm not concerned yet, we haven't officially started trying. I just want to get my cycles "normal", then we'll start. Was hoping this charting thing would help, but I'm more confused than before !! I'm not good at waiting, its Gods way of testing me :)

BTW we have a lot in common, I have a daughter named Kaitlyn as well, and I homeschool my two eldest daughters :)

Thanks again....

Thank you ! I will do that....I used to be a regular on the PCOS board, but its so time consuming, it became hard to visit and reply to posts....

So, crazy enough, I got a positive PG test this morning! I'm still shocked and in denial...I just figured my cycle was still out of whack, but took the PG test to be sure. I could not believe it.

I go to the doctor tomorrow for a progesterone level check (just in case) and they say they'll do an u/s to see how far along I am....just CRAZY !! God is good though, what a blessing.

Thanks for ALL your advise and help !!

With your continued high temps, I'm not at all surprised that you got a BFP!
