Hello. I am new here. My name is Wendy, and my husband and I are ttc our first baby. I have found this site to be helpful with some similar questions! I went off the pill in February, and just started charting my temps this month. I still have lots to learn! I am a little confused about my chart (still new to learning how to interpret it all). I think that I ovulated (based on temps), but i still have creamy/sticky cm. Is that normal? I thought it was supposed to dry up within a day or 2 past ovulation? Here is my chart, as that may help.

Thanks for any advice!!

Hello,

Your link is not working- when you have your chart opened, you might hit the "share" button and then send a copy to yourself.

The cm dry-up refers mainly to your ewcm drying up.

Thanks. I will keep going with my fingers crossed. I never really paid close attention to my fertility in the past, and have learned so much about my body just in this first month of charting. It's great to have a community to share results, and ask questions!

Hey there,

Ok, looks like I see an O on cd34 if your temps stay up high.

Another quick question.....After ovulation, your temps should stay high until just before your period right? (unless pregnant)....The temps would stay above your coverline right? Still learning :P and have a slim hope that I could be pregnant (although I think unlikely at this point)

For the most part, your temp should stay up until just before or soon after AF arrives. However, there are very often temporary dips here and there and are not cause for concern. Quite often there is a dip about a week after ovulation, which is likely caused by a small, secondary estrogen surge. There is also a theory that relates this dip to implantation, but I've seen it on so many non-PG charts that I just don't get my hopes up based on that dip.

HTH!
