Thanks Sue!!

Wow, I had no idea! I'll keep an eye on my low temps for sure, thyroid problems run in my family.

You might keep mental note of any other thyroid-type symptoms that might be present then, just in case, since there's a family history. Hopefully it's not...but the chart is definitely a good way to catch it if it's there and you didn't already know. Thyroid imbalances make it harder to conceive and put a woman at higher risk of m/c, so definitely a good idea to get things back in balance before you're actively ttc, if indeed that's what it is.

Well, if I do have slight thyroid issues it looks like it doesn't affect my ability to conceive! I just found out I'm pregnant!! Woops, a little earlier than planned, but a happy surprise!! Eeek not sure where to start now! Haha!! :)

Congrats!!! I hope all goes well. What a nice holiday surprise :-) When you have your first doctor's appointment, you could mention to your doctor that you have concerns about a possible thyroid issue. I don't know if they would initiate testing and/or treatment during pregnancy or not, but it doesn't hurt to throw it out there as one of your questions and see what they say. (You do know to write down all of your questions so you don't forget something, right? LOL.)

Yes!! Thanks! I had my appointment on Monday, still waiting for the results, but they added my thyroid levels to the blood test, so hopefully those will come back ok! :) :)

I'll be interested to know their recommendation, if your thyroid levels come back abnormal (for future reference for others coming to this board with similar issues), so if you get a chance, please come back and update us. Hope everything is absolutely normal and you have no worries.

Yay, glad that worry is crossed off your list. I hope everything else goes just fine for the next 8.5 or so months.
