so i had my last depo shot febuary 14,2011, and my doctor said my body should be back to normal in august but i have read that some women take a year

I wish you well on your journey to being a momma. It's really hard to say how long it will take for you to get pregnant. I've known of many women whose cycles stayed abnormal for quite a while after stopping depo. It sounds like you didn't use it for very long, so maybe your body will be rid of the effects sooner. Hopefully, right? Are you considering charting your cycles? That would be the best way for you to know if your cycles are normal or not, and particularly if you're ovulating or not. I highly recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. We're happy to help you get started and answer any questions you may have, as well.
