Users of OPKs: What CD do you get +?

I'm just curious. I've been using OPKs for the last two cycles because I realized the temping didn't work for me (I'd forget to do it, etc etc). On the first cycle I got the + on CD 19, on this cycle CD 18. This means I'm ovulating somewhere around CD 20. Isn't that a little late in the cycle to ovulate? Does anyone know if that causes any issues with TTC?

Thanks!

Ah ha, I see. My last two cycles have been 33 days. I'm on CD 20 of this cycle. I've got a few more months of charting to do before DH comes home so I am interested to see how consistent I really am.

Sounds like you've got a good LP then...your cycles are just a hair longer because you're Oing a bit "later".

Hmm I guess I might just do the temping thing at the same time as when I'm using the OPKs then. I usually start the OPKs around day 13 and test until the day after I get the +. Doing those in conjunction wouldn't be too bad.

Temping is definitely a good idea, in conjunction with OPKs, and also observing your cervical mucus.
