This is very exciting, and I think helps you see when you are charting if your estimates were accurate:
The test has two strips: One gives you the standard, life-changing pregnant/not pregnant info, but the other measures the amount of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), sometimes referred to as the pregnancy hormone, and uses it to estimate how many weeks ago ovulation occurred. If you're indeed pregnant, you’ll get a range of 1-2, 2-3 or 3+. Note that when your OB/GYN confirms how far along you are, she’ll use the date of your last period, giving you two bonus weeks. In contrast, this test dates your pregnancy from estimated ovulation. So if you get, say, a 2-3 range, that means you are considered 4 to 5 weeks pregnant.
The test has a 93% accuracy rate. Are you excited to try it out?
