(Sorry for yelling, I can't help myself)

When they finally checked me this afternoon, my "Heavy 1cm" dialation....was no longer cervix is closed!

I am still on bedrest and meds, and we're not out of the woods yet, and they are setting me up for a home contraction monitor, but the doc says that there isn't anything that I can't do at home that they can do here....if we're really going to end up delivering early, it's going to happen wether I am home or at the hospital. He says at this point, for our emotional health, home is a better option. He said we may end up back at an inpatient status at some point, but for now, he's comfortable seeing me go home and having 1-2x weekly appointments.

Thank you for all of your prayers and positive thoughts---I have no doubt that is how my cervix closed up.

I am so excited, I can't quit all honesty I don't mind crying for this reason!

I will update you all more when I get home and settled.

PS--My anatomy scan went wonderfully, the babies are "without abnormality" and both measuring in the top percentile on measurements. We offically have a Hailey and a "very impressive" Matthew-- Doc  even measured his winky! I have a hilarious US pic of it that I will upload. :)

YAY! That is wonderful news! What an amazing thing that your cervix is closed and you get to go HOME! Bedrest is still a bummer but I am sure being at home will be so much better.

Too funny about the doc measuring Matthew's winky:).

Rachael, I SO needed to see some good news today, and I am absolutely thrilled that it came from you!!! I've checked back several times in the last few days to see if you posted another update. I am so glad you are doing well, the babies are so healthy, and you get to go home. Don't you lift a pinky finger around there- just lay around and incubate! Once those two babies get here, you won't have a second of rest, so enjoy it now!
