Beta #4

Just got the beta results. Beta went from 2153 on Monday to 6949 today. That is a doubling time of about 2.3 days. Does this sound like a good beta number. They were doubling about every 1.5-2 days so it seems to have slowed just a bit. Should I be concerned. I do not know why I feel so negative with this pregnancy. Maybe it is my way of preparing myself if something should happen. I really want to be excited about this pregnancy but I just fear the worst. How do I get past this feeling. Nothing is leading us to believe I will lose this baby. maybe if the spotting would go away and stay away for good I would feel more confident.

I think your betas look pretty good. Keep in mind the variables of a "good beta" are pretty wide.

I only had 3 betas & I thought they were pretty good but when I saw the notes that my RE sent to my OB

My dr quit doing my betas after I got to 2000 because they scheduled the u/s and started using that to gauge the progress of the pregnancy.

Your beta sounds good to me. As long ad they are going up that is a good thing.
