So I have been MIA for awhile now. I needed a break from all the fertility and wanted to focus on myself.

Thanks for all the congrats. I am truely feeling blessed. Trying to get through this 1st trimester is nerve wracking. I fear everytime I go to the bathroom I will be bleeding. So far everything is looking good. Morning sickness comes and goes when it wants. My jeans are getting snug and the belly is starting to get a little bigger. Had a beta done last week and it was almost 18,000 so that was very promising. Waiting for the beta results today. Progestrone was a little low at 17.3 so I am having to take supplements. I will update everyone later as I get more results. Fingers crossed this is the baby I have been waiting 10 years for.

Jamie, I do think the weight loss helped. My cycles came back every month.

Keep us posted on your u/s. I'm excited to hear how far along you are.

As much as I have fought the idea that I need to lose weight to conceive, stories like yours convince me further that I will need to slim down. It's just hard for me to wrap my head around it, because there are so many women in my life that are heavier and had babies. My mom had four, my sister has had two, and I have a bunch of friends that have had no issues conceiving while being overweight. I'm just one of the lucky ones I suppose...grrr!

Ultrasound today gave me a big sigh of relief. Baby is doing great and measuring 7w6d with a heartbeat of 176. My due date is Aug 22.

Heather, its a tough decision when you have to decide on wether to transfer 1 or both. I think it will come down to how well your eggs will defrost. if you only transfer 1 and it does not take you know you have another shot. I wish I only had to pay 1000 for transfer. Mine is 5000.00. I have not decided if we will transfer any of my frozen eggs. After 10 years of fertility hell I am ready to be done. If I chose not transfer I will be donating my eggs. I cannot just throw them away. After all they are my babies. As far as doing a natrual cycle... I do think it is better since nothing is artifically enhanced with meds.
