Complications with a routine surgery

I went in for an outpatient laproscopy to check my female reproductive system, he wanted to see why we are not getting pregnant. When he opened me up he found that I had stage 4 endometriosis (and we knew I had PCOS prior). He was able to get all of the endo out exept for a rock hard piece of tissue connected to my colon. As he was trying to cut it out, he accidentally cut my colon. A colon surgeon had to be called in to patch it up. They left the remainder of the endo connected to the colon for now, at a later date a more extensive surgery can be done to remove part of the colon and rest of the endo.
