I really really don't understand two things

1. If I do not produce mature eggs then why the HECK do I suffer with a period..not fair

2. Why on earth are the symptoms of AF the same as those of early pregnancy. I mean, really?? there couldn't be something else that could easily differentiate to the two? It's completely obnoxious.

I completely understand what you mean! I never feel any different then normal before AF is due to arrive. Which of course just leads me to wonder if that is a sign too....sheesh. I had to cancel my accupuncture appointment today because I still cannot get my car out because of the snow (boo!) She asked if I felt any different and I laughed. Of course not.

I also completely agree about the AF! I think if our try is a bust then God or mother nature or whoever should give us a break. The pain of AF is like adding insult to injury.

Oh Dixie, you took the words right out of my mouth. I sit here with terrible cramps but think, hey, my BB's aren't sore..I'm sure that is a sign@@ I dont' know why I do this to myself. After nearly 6 years you would think I have figured it out, lol.

I try to be rational...but I think a tiny part of me hoped that since I was finally started a medicated cycle that this would be different.

Good Luck, Emmy! Hopefully this medicated cycle brings you that BFP! I hate that the symptoms for AF and pg are the same. I wish they weren't, and that way we wouldn't torture ourselves. Not knowing is always the worst part of TTC, esp if you've been at it for so long. It just plain old sucks.
