So yesterday was the last day of BCP. I should be getting AF anytime and I begin stims on Friday. I am freaking out that AF will not start by Friday. I am so irregular with my cycle and feel that I should have stopped the pill over the weekend. If AF does not start on time I will have to forgo IVF this month and try again hopfully next month if there is a spot. I am also freaking out that I will not respond to the meds or what if it does not work. I have waited so long to get to this point and now I have myself all worked up. I am not sleeping well and plain moody. Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep the jitters at bay?
Me ~ 31 DH ~ 33 TTC #1 since August 2002. Dealing with mild Endo, PCOS, Diabetes, and MFI.
DD ~ 5/97 previous marriage
2 rounds of Clomid 2004 – BFN
First RE consult 2008 but was not the right time financially.
IUI #1 with Bravelle 2/10 – BFN
IUI #2 with Bravelle 3/10 – canceled do to low response. Timed BD = BFN
IVF #1 July 2010 Hopeful this will be the one! :)

I can totally understand why you're stressed out! What type of protocol are you on? I was so happy that I didn't have to worry about when AF came... I went off BC on 6/27, started microdose lupron on the 29th, and started stims on 7/1. AF came on 7/3, after I was already stimming.
I'm so sorry you have to worry about this in addition to the regular IVF worries. Out of curiosity, why would you have to wait another whole month? Couldn't you just start a few days later?

The reason I would have to wait another month is because the clinic I use only does IVF 1 week out of the month. So unless I am on their cycle I would have to forgo the whole cycle and try again another month. I hate this but because it is a small clinic they do not have the staff to run it 24-7. I am just crossing my fingers AF will be nice this month and do what she is suppose to do. As for my protocal I start stims on 7-9. I will be on 300 units Follistim-morning and 300 units Menupor-evening.

Katrina - calm down (I know easier said than done)....the only thing you can control in a situation like this is how you react to things....and if you are stressed, AF could play games with you and cause a delay.
