Ok - so I finished 5 days of clomid and I'm on day 3 of estrogen.
I'm probably about 2-3 days from O. I am having major anxiety and just completely lost my temper about something stupid. Just so on edge - wondering if anyone else has had this side effect (from estrogen I'm thinking?) I'm certainly feeling hot flashes too.
I just want to punch something.UGH. I don't like feeling like this. I just don't know how you guys go through this (and so much worse with the more serious drugs). Feel like I'm going to lose it.

Oh I know exactly what you mean about the emotions. Right now all I had to deal with is the Clomid side effects and those were enough to make me not want to be around me. I found myself getting mad at the dog for not going pee fast enough. I realized as she looked at me not sure what to do that I was losing it. I ended up just sitting outside by myself.

Its crazy what the medication does to us on top of the stress of being IF. Sometimes I think insurances should pay for mani/pedis to help relieve stress

Thanks Heather. Sorry to hear you are struggling with this emotional roller coaster too. Unfortunately, I guess most of us women dealing with IF are. You take a super stressful situation and add the side effects of the drugs and - WOW - tough stuff.

Yesterday was a better day for me - but this morning has been hard again. I'm testing for my LH surge each morning per DRs instructions - and still nothing. I really thought today was going to be the day. So now it looks like I have to go in tomorrow and have a trigger shot. But DH might not be able to be there now since it's Monday and work is insane for him now. I'm sure he'll manage - but I hate that he's acting like it's this big hassle. Are you kidding me? A hassle for him to go "watch" me get an IUI?? I'm the one going through the drugs and the procedures. It's frustrating that he would have an attitude about it at all.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Makes me feel a little better that I'm not alone. I just threw my $200 Blackberry across the room and broke it. UGH. And I have to pull it together to host our neighbors for a BBQ tonight. Are you kidding me? Not sure I'm gonna be the greatest hostess tonight. Hope I don't throw any tri-tip at anyone. LOL
