Howdy to all.  I could actually cry right now after reading some of the posts here and I am just so frustrated.  Married 6 years, no children and insisted on waiting until we were better off financially to have children.   We are still not exactly where I would like to be but my doctor says I can't wait.  Now I am 39 and my doctor is already talking about IVF and egg donation.  My FsH levels are all over the place.  I have had 19.5, 8, 12 and 15.  My doctor finally calmed down and said that women with high levels still get pregnant and she didn't push so much for me to go to a fertility specialist.  We are scheduled to go in January, if we are unsuccesful.  Of course, to add to it is the fact that my husband travels a lot.  He is going out of town tomorrow for 3 weeks.  I don't think think the turkey baster is the answer.  (Trying to keep a sense of humor).  I would love any words of wisdom or suggestions on what to expect with a specialist.

Thanks in advance to everyone.

Welcome....

I'm glad to hear that your MD is appropiately concerned and willing to be aggressive.

I am also 39. We are dealing with male factor infertility and then there is my age...

It sucks to feel that time is running out. January is not far away.

Anyway, as your husband travels frequently, I thought this product may be helpful for you if you want a chance when he's out of town at o-time. See sperm shipper/biological transporter.

Anyway I know for me I hate to miss any cycle, with the bio clock ticking loudly in my ear.

Good luck and I hope you get a x-mas BFP.
