ok so i am sitting here thinking you know i wont be able to afford fertility treatments for awhile and obviously not getting pregnant by myself and then i remembered I heard one time that doctors sometimes put you on birth control to help regulate you......

has anyone ever heard of this. Since i don't have a real answer as to why i am not getting pregnant i figured maybe if i did it for a couple months it might help. what do yall think.

I was put on BCP prior to starting a cycle w/ injections. This was done to rid my ovaries of any existing follicles, cysts and the like and allow the RE to manipulate the entire cycle. I am not sure about taking BCP for the purpose of increasing the chances of natural pregnancy. I think that it would depend on the issues (if they are known) that are leading to your infertility problems. Good luck!!!

This happens in some cases.
