ER tomorrow

My egg retrieval is tomorrow. My last u/s showed 19 follies (probably 13 mature).
Today I am so ready to get this done. I feel horrible, my ovaries feel huge and hurt and all I want to do is cry. IVF is not for wimps.
PLEASE WORK!!!

Me - (Amanda 27) My dh-- 26 We have been ttc # 1 for 3yrs 5mths My dh has severe oligospermia, Ivf with icsi is our only option. Ivf # 1--- failed Ivf # 2--- failed Ivf # 3-- hopefully in March 2013 at a new clinic!

I agree with Monica...Drink lots of fluids and take it easy! IVF is definitely not for wimps, and I hope that you feel better soon! Hopefully so great numbers tomorrow will make you feel better! :)

Now just sit tight and wait for that call tomorrow...Try not to obsess too much over it. It will be what it will be, and remember it only takes one little embie!

Sorry I'm late to the party!
Well, my fertilization report was certainly not what I had hoped for.
11 eggs, 8 mature, 8 ICSI'ed, only 3 fertilized normally. Yesterday I was really devastated, but feeling a lot better today...we still have 3 chances. In my perfect scenario, I would have extras to freeze. As this is likely our one and only IVF (due to finances), I'm very scared that if it doesn't work, my TTC days are over. But today I'm being more optimistic and hoping that at least we have this shot.
My transfer will be 11/11/11...please be a lucky day!!!
