Names for the "Prayers 4 A Baby" blanket

I am currently working on crocheting a baby blanket.  On the baby blanket I would like to add ribbons with names on it for those who wish to be a part of this.  The baby blanket is a variated coloring of lavender, light green, pink, and a darker almost blue purple.  It's not the most perfect blanket as I missed a few stitches here and there...(kinda like the holes we have in our hearts as we wait for the words...here is your son...here is your daughter...and wait for the doctor to place a child in our arms.  Holes so often filled with doubt and lost hopes.)

The (missed stitches) holes represent a place where our fears and lost hopes can slide through, only to make more room for our dreams to stay with the blanket.

The names will be the names of our future children.  If you all are like me, you already know what you would name the child that you wish would be in your arms right now, but which haven't even been able to be conceived yet.   So please respond to this and I will write the names down to be placed on ribbons on the blanket.

When you find out that you are pregnant and having that child we will send the blanket your way.  Once your child is born, remove the name of your son or daughter and once the next baby is born, send it to that person.  The only requirement is that you say a prayer for every one of the people on the opposite end of those ribbons still on the blanket that they might be graced with a blessing like you received.  Thanks....  --Melissa

So...I am starting it off.

I can't wait to see the picture of the blanket but it might be covered in ribbons. I still think it is a GREAT IDEA. I am so happy to call you my friend.
