Hello, everyone!
So I am making the official announcement that I am taking a break from the madness! I figure if I make it official, then I'm in the clear and ready for *IT* to happen, right?! That's what everyone keeps saying, anyway, stop thinking about it & it will happen. So that's what we're doing. After two rounds of Clomid, 4 sonograms, one HSG, 3 HCG shots, gallons of blood donations, 1 IUI, Prometrium suppositories, crying and tears and worrying and many nights of forced sex...I'm done! Watch out everyone, I'm doing the holidays up RIGHT with wine and cocktails and parties and socializing and...what the heck am I still doing on the computer?! I'm OUTA HERE!!! =)
Best of luck to everyone! Baby dust to all! And to all a good night!
See you back next year....
Kim

Thank you for sharing with us so far.
Hi, Karla!
You won't believe it; I am still in denial, actually, but I finally got my BFP! I am rereading this Official Break post and it cracks me up! So once I made the announcement that we were putting baby making OFF our minds for the month of December...that's when it happened! Seriously, we only bded ONCE. And it was the wrong position and I didn't lay there after or anything. It's crazy.
I am pretty fragile at this point, taking drugs to keep from miscarrying. I have told family & a couple close friends, but want to wait until I'm in the clear as far as that goes.
Anyways, just had to share! I also posted on the "Grad" place.
Thank you SO much for your support! This is a great place for women like us going through this very difficult time. I found a lot of comfort in your words, and the kind words of others going through infertility. Hope to hear about many, many more BFPs! Especially from you!
Take care,
Kim C.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Wishing you a happy, healthy and miraculous 9 months!
CONGRATULATIONS!!
So - the break thing really works ;-)
Kim,
Congrats on your BFP!!!
if you're still reading these posts, could you please let me know what drugs you are taking to keep from MCing?
Hi, Lisa.
Yes, I am taking the Progesterone suppositories. I have to stay on them for the entire first trimester, to keep from miscarrying. I guess when I was on Clomid, it messed up my uterine lining. They are a pain, but I will deal with it; we have wanted this for so long!
I have a friend who had 4 m/c and she ended up discovering that she needed blood thinners to keep her body from m/c. She just had her 2nd baby, & for both pregnancies had to give herself an injection every single day. But her kiddos are healthy! I can't remember what the disorder is called.
Best of luck to you!! Don't stop the progesterone!!!
