So I had an IUI done 2 weeks ago Sunday and I decided to test last night.

My RE does the first u/s 6-8weeks. I recommend waiting until week 7 because not every bean has their little heart flicker at 6 weeks.....learned this as a fact the hard way. We waiting until after seeing the heartbeat because it is the first hurdle and while I don't recall the stats off the top of my head- the risk of loss goes down with confirmation of the heartbeat.

Hooray! Congrats! I suggest waiting until at least 6 weeks for an u/s. If you do one before then and see nothing it may mean just that - nothing. You want to wait until enough time has passed where you should at least see a sac and a fetal pole.

Congratulations!!! I found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago from my IUI. I have gone for blood work 4 times and have an ultrasound sceduled for next Friday. I will be 6 1/2 weeks then. They want you to be 6 weeks. We have told a few people because they knew that we had an iui. I have not told the kids. We are waiting until next Friday.
