Are you currently in an IUI cycle or will you be starting one soon?  What types of meds will you be using?

I got a BFN today, so we'll be doing IUI #3 mid November.  I was prepared this time to get let down, so it really didn't phase me.  For our first IUI I was so hopeful and excited that I was really bummed and put out.  I think having a plan that assumes you won't get pregnant helps.  We had already been discussing how many more IUIs we would try and what options for IVF we might take.  I hope the rest of you are having better luck!

Not sure if this board is still going but AF showed up today. I am still taking my progesterone which is really confusing as to why I would start my period. Preg test was today so I guess I have my answer. This is frustrating and I am very sad. I was really hoping.

I am 37, going to do my first IUI in October. We’re not using any meds because my Dr. said my hormone lab work doesn’t indicate needing it right now.  I won’t say that I’m not worried about that after reading some of the treatment plans of others but we are willing to start with a simpler approach. I’ve been doing OPK’s for the last 3 months with consistent results. Next month is the real deal!!

Today!! Just had my 2nd IUI today!  What a crazy cycle it has been.  To top it off I just typed the entire thing - it's the stuff of reality TV, and it didn't;t post!  Well, that is just par for the course!

Nutshell - 1 unsuccessful IUI, 2 months cancellations due to cysts, Sept 9 get the go ahead, Sept 19th BW shows eggs need 1 more shot gonal f, which I threw away, convince neighbor to dig in trash and recover, day of IUI get stuck in crazy DC traffic, almost miss sperm "window of viability", get IUI, Dr comments on good cervical position and CM (has never happened before, hoping for the best!  OK BREATHE!!!
