FET success?

Hi ladies- I haven't been on the boards in forever so here's a quick run down of my fertility history: I have crohns disease which affects my intestines and colon. After a 2007 surgery I'm in remission. 2008 began trying to get pregnant. Lots of tests=unexplained fertility. 4 IUIs and an IVF later I have a perfect, almost 2 yo baby boy! Dec 2012 I find out I'm pregnant and find out soon after its ectopic. 11 weeks and 2 methotrexate shots later I'm finally not pregnant. We took 3 months off to recover and then began 50 of clomid and progesterone. 3 cycles all BFN. I just completed an unmediated cycle with an hsg and another bfn. About to start 100 of clomid and injectable progesterone for the last cycle with my ob.
Ok, sorry that really wasn't short!! I have 1 frozen embryo from my IVF. It's great quality and was a 6 day blast. My husband and I are willing to do the fet but we are scared to death about the embryo not surviving the thaw or it not implanting. We put 2 embryos in the first round and had a singleton.
Those that have done fet, what was your experience/success/ advice?
TIA
Rachael

On an aside, I just want to make sure you have been taking folic acid supplements after the methotrexate. It would have seriously depleted your folic acid when you took it (which is why you have to wait so long to start trying again after the shot) and you will want to be building that level back! You probably already know that, but I just wanted to make sure.
Good luck! Hopefully this last IUI will work, but if not, an FET with your little frozen embryo might be a good next step.
No experience here just yet...but I also have a 2010 IVF success baby =) An we also had a singleton after transferring two embryos. We have four in the freezer and will be doing a single embryo FET in September. We are choosing to do a single embryo FET because we would like to limit the chance of twins. Good luck making a decision, I know it's not an easy one.

Good Luck!!! I did a FET in July and currenlty preggo.. We only transferred one because i didn't want twins. Success rate usually depend on your clinic an also how the embryo was frozen. If using the faster freezing technique thaw rates are higher. ya never know what can happen.. Keep us posted.

Hi, I haven't posted much this cycle, but I had a FET last wednesday of one day 6 blast. It thawed well, I was so worried about that. We only had one left from our IVF in 2010. We also transferred two at that time and had a baby boy. So, I POAS today and it's positive. I go for my first beta saturday. We did try one timed BD cycle and 2 IUI, all with letrozole this time before moving to the FET. Good luck. I will come back to post my betas.
