MTHFR mutation....anyone heard of this?

After 3 early losses in DE cycles, my RE decided to run a bunch of blood tests on me. The nurse called me this week and said I had 2 copies of some mutation called MTHFR and that I needed to be on extra folate and a baby aspirin every day while cycling/trying to get pregnant, and they will probably add Lovenox to my next cycle. Any of you ladies heard of this or have any experience with it? From what I've seen by searching online, it's linked to all kinds of issues like higher risk for spina bifida, anencephaly, and higher risk for blood clots.....kind of scary
I'm sorry that you are going though this, leighlv :( I've heard of this mutation before on the boards, I think there might be some members on TTC After Miscarriage with this:
