Good news for us! This is kind of an old article but I thought I had heard somewhere that spring IVF was the best time of year for IVF. There are several articles but here's one: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/09/100913182445.htm I hope Spring is our season! It's already my fave! ;)
Hi ladies!! Just left my injection training class!! Having mixed emotions about it...on one hand I am so ready to get started, but on the other hand, I'm scared to death of those needles!!
juanamomma- Yes those articles give me a boost of hope too. :) Good ol mother nature is on our side for once. Good luck with your shots. I am not looking forward to my meds bill either. I have to pay 100% up front then my insurance will reimburse me 70%. I am charging it then paying what insurance gives me and maybe leaving the rest on the charge card. I don't know. We are short a bit for our IVF since we did the IUIs. Unsure by how much though. Keep us posted!
christina-Thats so frustrating about the financial coordinator but I bet she is really busy if she has to do all 11 branches. I'd definitely give her a call Friday and just be real nice about it and tell her you know she's busy so you just wanted to check in. I understand what you mean about no privacy. I usually try to go to the bathroom for my calls. Only one stall so its generally private. I did answer a call the other day at my desk and I tried to speak soft and I had to figure out how to say donor sperm without saying that. lol I ended up saying donor but luckily lots of noise where i work so i dont think anyone heard...I hope! I don't want anyone at work knowing my IF stuff either. I work with all males though so less likely to have nosey ladies following up on something they overheard me say. :P Also my officemate is in his 60s, i highly doubt he had any idea what i was talking about even if i told him. lol
Thanks for all the support :smileyhappy: !! It's so refreshing to be able to "talk" to people who actually understand the fear and frustrations of IF and IVF.
I understand about not being able to call at work. I'm a teacher, so I can't take calls at all except for one hour on my planning period which happens to be mid day when office workers ar typically at lunch. So sometimes I have to wait until the end of th day to hurry and make calls before offices close.
Christina- that is SO frustrating!! I think you are being really nice by waiting until Friday!!

Well, I was very nice to that lady even though I really wanted to strangle her :).
My IVF cycle is over before it even started.
