Don't feel you have to leave. We won't discriminate on the IUI. :)

Elizabeth-So sorry about your polyp! I hope everything goes well Monday!!!

As for me, I purchased the Circle and Bloom IVF/IUI program mp3s last night. I've been wanting to but couldnt justify the cost (45 dollars with coupon code health25), however they do have a 100% money back guarantee for any reason (supposedly)so I figure if my IVF is unsuccessful I can try to return it. lol I have known two ladies who have used this program and both got pregnant on their IVF cycle. Also there was an article in readers digest about alternative therapies doctors recommend and the #1 was guided imagery type mind/body connection therapies. One surgeon recommends it to all his patients and even used it himself with his knee surgery. There is scientific evidence that it does help. So again its not a guarantee but it should help. I am one of those people who over analyzes everything and while I put on a positive front on here my emotions do a daily roller coaster ride of being positive to negative to depressed to sad to scared to [insert emotion here]. So I am hoping these programs help ease all that and relax me. (since relaxed is rarely one of my feelings lol). There are 3 precycle meditations so I listened to that one last night and it was pretty good. Is anyone else using this program?

Hi Gabrielle!

Glad you found us here! :)

Here's a little of what to expect day of retrieval. For most ER procedures, you are asleep (although some do the procedure with lighter sedation, in most of the cases I know of you are usually out). So you really don't feel anything of the actual retrieval. When you wake up, they will tell you how many eggs you retrieved. They will take the eggs and wash and fertilize them and it will be the next day before you find out how many you have that have fertilized. You may be a bit sore from the retrieval (and from the swollen ovaries) so take it easy for a day or two.

Does that help with what you wanted to know?

Welcome Gabrielle! This is my first IVF so I'm not sure what to expect either. DH and I live alone (with our furbabies) so we dont have to worry about who sees our meds but that dorm fridge is a great idea if we did! :) Good luck!

Do you know what I just realized? My beta will probably be on or near MOTHER'S DAY! Ugh.

I was scanning some stuff for work and they had a 12 month calender in front of me so I was thinking of my IVF of course. :) Assuming I start stims around the 20th and have ER or ET before the end of the month...let's just say its April 30th. May 13th is Mother's day so my beta will likely be right b4 that! Meaning this will either be the worst Mother's Day ever or the best one yet.

I hope we all have BFPs for Mother's day!
