Welcome Gabrielle!!! Right now my retrieval date isn't too far from yours...4/17-18th. I just got my meds yesterdat and was trying to figure out how to keep them organized..like what needle with what medicine. Right now I just have everything back in the box, except the Lupron which I have in the fridge. This is my first and hopefully only cycle. So I'm not sure what to expect either. But its good to have someone to talk to about all of this :-)

Thanks Juanamomma!! So will you keep it up to date or do we copy paste and update ourselves? I will update my official stims date after my appt on the 5th. I should get a calendar. She said on the phone 'around' the 20th.

I like how your chart is optimistic enough to include two betas and an ultrasound ;)

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

I don't mind keeping it updated. It gives me something else to do while I wait :-).

I had my SIS last week, in which they found what they hoped was just a polyp but may be a tumor.

Glad it wasn't anything that would hinder your cycle.

Elizabeth,

Same thing happened to me...thought they saw something on the SIS, has a hysteroscopy and nothing. At first I was upset cause I felt it pushed be back. But better safe than sorry!! Glad yours turned out ok!

Elizabeth- So sorry to hear about your polyp but I'm glad it didn't hinder your cycle. Good luck on your IVF.

As for me I have my baseline ultrasound tomorrow as well as injection teaching. I will also get my box o' drugs. My back is still killing me but my family doctor told me not to work til next Monday. So I'm off work til Monday so hopefully the extra rest will have my back feeling better in no time and I can get off the pain killers. But I will ask RE and see if he has any objections to what I'm on now. I looked them up and all my drugs are class B so that gave me a little hope that I'm not doing damage to my eggs. It just seems like I keep running into all these roadblocks and while logically I think I should go around them (post pone IVF) I'd rather just knock em down and keep on walking towards my IVF goal. lol But I will definitely ask RE and update you all tomorrow.

Baby dust to all!!!

Oops I realized I didn't tell you girls about my back.

well i had my baseline ultrasound today. All looked good. So I had my teaching and picked up my meds. Instead of excited I feel scared and overwhelmed. Not good. Still don't know an exact stim start date. Basically I start lupron next wednesday and then stop bcp on the 14th. Once my period comes after that I call them and they set up bloodwork for me and whatever day that is will be cd1. Then I start stims. I have a 2nd blood work 4 days in and then every other day after that. First u/s is 8 days into stims. That would be the earliest we'd trigger...but might take longer of course. She said its rare to trigger on that day but since I stim so fast with femara I wouldn't be surprised if I would be ready or close to it by then. Meanwhile my Repronex and PIO have to be put in my HIP not my butt. She marked both sides with Xs for DH and gave him the marker to remark the areas in case it fades. DH seems pretty confident in doing the shots. I'm glad I'm not the one doing it. I was kinda out of it during due to my pain meds. Took me a few minutes to give them my address and birthdate. :)

One cool thing about the clinic I learned is they put all results and instructions on a Personal Information line. I have a number I call, put in my patient number and listen to a message that will have blood test results and what my dosages should be and when my next bloodwork/ultrasound is. Basically I should be able to call after 3 or 4 at the latest for my test results and instructions. So that's kind of cool so I dont have to worry about answering the phone at work or missing a call.

She didnt say anything about my meds I am on for my back though I should be off them soon i think anyway. I told her them and she entered them into the computer.

I also feel a bit overwhelmed by all the medications.
