Elizabeth,

I don't think it really matters what time of day you take it. If I remember right, I think I took it in the evening because it was a convenient time for me to remember it (that's when I took my vitamins too, since I am not a morning person and my brain doesn't kick in til later, LOL!).

From what they told me, the baby aspirin helps with blood flow to the uterus and that can help with implantation.

mrsnetangel: Isn't that big box scary?! But once you start doing the shots its not that bad. Well, I'm still scared of the PIO, but I have a while longer for that.

Elizabeth: I agree with Cilia that it doeasn't matter what time you take it. I take mine in the morning beacuse that's when I take all of my other meds.

AFM: I was supposed to start stims today but my period got a late start (didn't start until yesterday) so I will start stims tomorrow. I hear that the Bravelle and Menopur both sting. Yikes!

The menopur can sting a little bit, but it isn't too bad. If it bothers you much, try icing the area first and that can help. Good luck!!

I have a question for everyone.

What did you tell your boss/work? I think since ER and ET are not set dates I will be forced to tell my boss what I'm doing.

I feel bad because I was just off all of last week because of my back. So I have 0 sick time I will have to use vacation time on short notice. I've even considered doing FMLA because I'm afraid of getting in trouble. Before this past week with my back I had plenty of sick time to use and now I dont. :( Gonna have to work my butt off for the next few weeks to catch up before I start missing work again.

I also have no sick leave and very little vacation.

Hi,

Hoping we 'belong' here too....

I guess I am posting here to get more input and answers to what seems like a pretty bad spell of luck for us so far!

I'm a SAHM so I've been fortunate that I don't have to deal with work.

Welcome 2dads!!! This is my first, and hopefully last, IVF. I have heard that some clinics advise bedrest and others say that it isnt necessary. I tend to err on the side of caution and would suggest bedrest. The clinic that I am with requires bedrest the rest of the day because I will have had valium to relax me. They say that another day is not necessary, but I will probably take it anyway :smileylol:. Hugs to you and good luck!! Keep us posted!!

Welcome Dadsx2! Sounds like you've had quite the journey. I hope this IVF works for you! I think the rest vs no rest is doctor's opinion. I think general consensus is to just 'take it easy' during the 2ww and then during pregnancy. Like no lifting anything heavier than 5 lbs, no heavy exercise, etc. If you want more responses perhaps try starting a new thread asking the entire board. I hope your embies do well. baby dust to you all!

Catchingup- Thanks for the thoughts. I agree its none of their business and usually i can be vague but I dont know I don't want them to think i'm skipping out or interviewing for other jobs. I've thought about FMLA but at first I thought I'd have plenty of sick time so I wasn't worried and my clinic has signs that say it takes 2 weeks to process FMLA then my work takes a week or so (I know bc i filed it once for my hubby and once for my mom) and in 2 weeks I will be in the middle of everything. So it seems to be too late. Not sure what I will do just yet...
