I start stims on August 10th for IVF attempt #3!!! Trying to get psyched up!!! Anybody with me?

I am in negotiations with my RE :smileyhappy:. In the last 2 cycles, I did follistim (very similar to gonal F) and menopur, second one with lupron. Total FSH dose was 375 in my second cycle. Follistim did give me breast tenderness and lupron gave me my first migraine aura ever (very weird). None of the side effects were too bad. So exciting you are getting going!! When is your first US?

I think it varies by doc. I start Friday and have my first us on Monday. I think with my last doc I didn't have an ultrasound until a ways in but they did do bloodwork. How are you feeling?

No worries, this is just the beginning! Plenty of time for those follies to grow. I am getting excited. Baseline Tuesday. Got big box of meds yesterday. I just want to get started again...the waiting kills me!

I know that we always want more eggs to work with, but I do know of more than one case where only one or two eggs were retrieved that were successful. Good luck!!! Hope some of the smaller ones get in gear and give you more than you expect.

Did they think any of the 9 would catch up? Either way, it just takes 1!!!

My baseline was fine. They didn't do an antral follicle count but, I guess it doesn't matter as long as I'm suppressed. No cysts or anything, so I'm good to go for Friday. Went over my meds today...so many shots this time. I have always done follistim once a day but they want me to do twice a day. Although I have to say, I would do 20 shots a day if it would help!!!!

Retrieval was not so bad. Just make sure they give you nausea medication. I puked a lot after my first retrieval but felt fine when they gave me Zofran with my second. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Yay!!! 8 eggs is awesome!! Did they say when they were going to call with the fertilization report?

Yup, started this morning. Doing 2 shots twice a day this go around so gearing up for tonight too. Do you start progesterone tonight or tomorrow?

Sorry, just realized I already mentioned the 2 shots before...clearly I'm very preoccupied with this, or my memory just stinks!!
