Hi Everyone!

DH and I decided to jump in for august IVF! I am on BCPs now until July 20th. I should get my finalized schedule this Friday. I just can't wait and have to know if anyone else is cycling in August with me!

I am starting to get really worried about the injections and if this is the right thing to do and all of those other things that pop into your head at times like these. So any advice and encouragement would be appreciated!

Good luck to everyone! FX for August BFPs!!!!

Me - 23 DH - 27 TTC #1 since 08/2009 severe MFI, azoo. Starting IVF #1 in August 2011!!!

Christa:

I am NOT a water drinker...at ALL! During my first IVF I never heard of, or was told to Drink water to avoid OHSS....so I didn't.... As a matter of fact, even AFTER my BFP..it took me a good 4-5 weeks into my pregnancy to force myself to drink at least 32-40 ounces of water a day. So.....Maybe I start choking it down now...since my ET will be this coming week. Maybe not...because I didn't last time and I am trying to re-create my last IVF since it was successful! LOL

Christa, it sounds like everything is moving along just fine, that's awesome. My nurse never told me about the water thing but I've read about it on the board. I'm not sure if it is after or before but some girls drink lots of gatorade also.
The first time around I definitely felt my ovaries, I felt very bloated.

Lindsay, you have me craking up and lol here girl. Good luck with your app tomorrow.

Hey, does anybody know how to do a chart? The girls from the July thread had a really good chart to keep track of everyone and their ER, ET, FET, beta dates etc.

I'm definitely not a water drinker either... I had to force myself too with my last pregnancy after "drs orders". I know I should, especially after te BFP, but they even said it helps with finding the veins for all the bloodwork (which i have tough veins to find and after just one day of bloodwork i look like a drug addict! ugh!!!)

AF did decide to show today - so only a day late - which won't push my schedule back at all. so that makes me happy.

I'm so excited that some ER's are coming up - I feel like my FET is so far away still!!! Let's get the BFP's rolling!!! :) :)

Lindsay - you are hilarious!!!! between the IVF bribery, throwing flour on yourself and the bad ovaries - too funny!! lol!
Me-35 dh-31. Severe MFI (azoo). IVF W/ICSI from TESE needed. IVF #1 - Mar 2008 cancelled day of ER due to non-viable sperm from TESE. DH put on clomid for 6 months. IVF #2 - Oct 2008 only 1 embryo made it to transfer, BFP, miscarriage at 10 weeks (

Oops, in all my ranting I did forget to mention one other positive thing: Although I was disappointed by my follies, my lining was looking GREAT! (7.7mm!) So I guess the Menopur increase was doing its job after all :)

Amazing how MUCH changes in a few days. Today I had 10 Follies (Fred, Frieda, Ferris, Fiona, Frank, Fran, Favio, Flicka, Fandango and Fantasia) on the Left size..all RIGHT where they need to be size wise. The right side 2 days ago was looking like the SLOW BUS (all between 9-10MM).....so they up'd my Follistim to help them along...and today..ALL the follies on my right side are OVER acheivers....most at 20MM already. So...My guess, Most of my viable eggs will come from the left side. Adding in the Ganirilex (Antagon) for the next 2 days.... and back to the clinic on Sunday Morning for re-check. I SUSPECT, that Sunday night will be my Trigger (Ovidrel) and Tuesday morning will be ET.

I am looking forward to pulling out my handy dandy Banner. When I had my IUI and First IVF...my cervix Curved to the right. So they always told me to remind the Dr. at ET/Transfer...that I curve to the right. So...being me..I made a Miss Maerica style Banner to wear...using Glitter and a bedazzler (borrowed from my Niece) that says.... Mrs. R.T. Curve. The first time I showed up wearing it...I thought the Doctor was going to Pee his pants.

Todays Bride.... Bojangles Chicken Biscuits.

Love reading everyone's Updates...... How are you all holding up? Anyone else feel like their Ovaries are about to bust out of their guts and start singing..."hello my Honey, Hello my Baby..hello My good time gal..."??

I never was a water drinker either but the last couple months everywhere I go I have a bottle of water.

Jennnifer, I'm glad af is playing nice and your schedule is right on track. Your FET will be here before you know it.

Ruthieb85, It sounds like you and your sis had a merry ole time in the city. I hope you get the hang of mixing the menopur shots quickly. My nurse gave us a couple of extra vials of saline just incase we broke the top of wrong, so that makes me feel a little bit relieved. Try not to be too worried about the follies, it's quality vs quantity. I do understand what you mean though, since I felt the same way last cycle, I wanted plenty eggs but it didn't work out that way. I'm glad to hear your lining is nice and thick.

Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay! you named your follies? and wore a bedazzled sash to remind your dr about your curved ovary? lmao!!!!!! It sounds like the follistim did the trick for, you must be happy that you are progressing so well.

I hope the rest of you are doing well.
