Melissa ... So sorry to say but I think many of us are very disappointed in the change ivillage was such a support through IVF infertility pregnancy ect but it's so hard to even read now ... I'll check back in a few months and see if it's changed but right now I can even see replies others have given ?

Thanks for checking in Melissa! The two biggest complaints I've heard are:

- not being able to tell what threads have unread posts in them

- when clicking into a thread with unread posts it doesn't go to the unread ones
- when using the "Quick Reply" function the editor doesn't recognize the return key and runs all text together
- after posting on an existing thread that thread is not moved to the top of that topic...so you end up having to search through all threads for new posts
- pictures next to names are gone
- some users not being recognized and being reported as "Visitor (Not Verified)"

I've noticed a severe reduction on posting but am hoping as the issues are worked through people will come back.

Thanks so much for your feedback. Here is what I know ;)

Unread posts & going to first unread post in a thread - this was a big project that we weren't able to go live with at this time, but stay tuned. They go hand in hand, and something that the tech team will have to program.

Quick Reply - this has been reported and is on the list for our tech team Threads with latest posts at the top of the board - go to "Edit My Preferences" click on the "General" tab, and checkmark the option to "Sort topics by time of most recent post"

Also, I do most of my reading/posting on my iphone and the format is so large, it is unusable. So I stopped checking in unless I can sit down at my regular computer at home (too slow to load at work). Until the mobile layout is fixed, I probably won't be checking in much.

I haven't been able to change my preferences. I have tried in chrome and IE8 and it kind of just clocks and locks up. Also at the top of the page where it shows the folder for the thread (Home › Pregnancy & Parenting › Trying to Conceive › IVF Support, Advice & Friends › IVF Support: Chit Chat, Cycle Threads & More › Checking In!), the board name reads "IVF Support, Advice & Friends"

I know the team is working hard to fix issues.

I tried to set my preferences to sort by the most recent post and it failed. It gave me an error message, "The e-mail address XXX is already taken.", where XXX is my email linked to my account. I'm reading in Chrome. It's really hard to look through pages and pages of threads to find the one I'm looking for (example on this board is the "October Cyclers - Post Here" thread.

Thanks again for your help in gathering these issues and getting them to the team working on the issues.

Cilla, we've been having issues with changing preferences for some members. What error message are you receiving? I think it might be related to our old cl-xxx accounts, but not for sure.
