Hello ladies,

What are you doing leading up to your cycle? I have to wait a couple AF's after a chemical pregnancy. Which is fine because I would like to lower my BMI by 25 lbs.
Me 34 DH 50 Sept 2007 failed VR November 2008 2nd failed VR April 2009 failed TESA 4% motility with none to use after freeze. DH massive infection post-op two rounds of antibiotics. Set for first IVF cycle with fresh TESA and Donor back-up; ER July 13

Jamie - Yay for your meds start date! That's great! Hopefully I will start around then too. :)

Today I am very proud of my hubby. He had his very first in person SA at the IVF clinic. He's had other SAs in the past but he could always do it at home then I drove it to the lab which is a few blocks away. But our IVF clinic is 30-45 minutes away and they require you do it there anyway. He said he had a special room and he had to pee before and after but he couldn't go after. He's been putting it off forever and even attempted to keep putting it off by trying to seduce me last night but I resisted. lol They said it could take up to 10 business days til we get the results. :P All of his other ones we knew the next day but that was because the first one it was like 'um nothing is there' and the other 2 or 3 (i forget) they just said 'its under 100k we can't do anything else' Supposedly this analysis will be more in depth. So I am looking forward to that.

Hopefully next week AF will arrive and I too can start BCP. I haven't been on BCP in over 3 years and its a brand I've never been on so I hope I don't have side effects. Then when AF arrives is when I set my appointment to learn how to do my shots and should hopefully set a firm date for meds! :D Yay!

Elizabeth, my DH had to do it at the office for his first SA. He said it was so awkward b/c he could hear people talking in the halls! Luckily, our RE is very close and he's always been able to do it at home and I take the sample in. Poor guys, that has to be a lot of pressure!

That's so great that we will be so close in cycles!

Yeah I can't imagine having to do that at a doctor's office no less. Sounded like he had a dude who was explaining stuff to him though (said how they wanted the urine after to make sure no guys were in it but DH couldnt and he said it wasnt a big deal). So I am glad it was another guy. I would think that would be easier, but I don't know maybe its worse. lol

Meanwhile I must have been retaining water Monday or something. I weighed myself again today and I am down over 3 lbs! which I know isn't possible in 3 days, so I am just happy it went down. Maybe I can still lose some weight b4 IVF. :D

Jamie: Awesome that you got a closer date. Yippee

Elizabeth: My DH always does his SA at home and then takes it in. I don't know how that will work for the retrieval since I assume I have to be there before his goods are needed. I wonder if they will want him to give

Christy-Congrats on getting started! BCP counts as getting started to me. lol AF is supposed to show Thursday-ish for me then I can get started. I hope she gets here soon. My breasts hurt!!! lol This isn't an every cycle PMS thing for me but it happens occassionaly. I am sharing it here so in case I am listing off all my IPS when I'm PUPO I can't count that one! lol It was so bad last night it was hard to sleep. blah.

Meanwhile I decided on a Pharmacy - Hyvee Pharmacy Solutions. They are in network and their prices are comparable to the out of network one I was thinking about using. I'd rather just stay in network and not have to stress about being reimbursed. I was kind of worried because they are a newer speciality pharmacy and they don't have a fertility department. But the customer service rep I am working with is so nice. She even sent me a hand written note with her card. She is also very accessible via email and I like that.

Here's hoping October is so much fun it just flies by. :)

Hi girls, thought I'd be leaving you for December however AF showed today 15 days late! Which will put me at the end of November for ER/ET. As long as Octobers AF shows on time! Then I have to wait for my surge to start.

Unfortunately if I'm late again I'll be cheering you on from the December cyclers!!

Hope all is well. I'm down 12 lbs so far and eating really healthy. Not sure if I'll do anything else like acupuncture but try my hardiest to stay stressfree!

GL to those starting bcp's!

Glad you are back with us Shelbel!

I had my mock transfer today and got my calendar. I will stop BCPs exactly a month from today. I'm SOOO ready to do this. My doctor explained everything to us and I feel like most of it I know but DH doesn't troll the internet about IF like I do, so I'm sure it was good for him to get to hear it all!

Shelbel-Congrats on your 12 lbs loss! That's great!!!I hope you stay with us and aren't pushed back to December.

Jamie-I'm glad you had a good appointment. Are you going to have any overlap with lupron and bcp?

Meanwhile I am waiting for AF to arrive. She is due TODAY. SHe usually wakes me up bright an early in the wee morning hrs so she may not arrive today but who knows.

Also I am down from 300mg of Wellbutrin to 75mg. But its been pretty rough. I've had crying spells, insominia, headaches, anxiety overload, etc. I just went down to 75 yesterday and today wow feels like someone is sitting on my chest and i can feel my heart beat and its just frustrating...I don't know if its even worth it. My RE and family doc said my wellbutrin wasn't an issue but Dr. Google and my gynocologist are the ones who said I should get off of it. Blah. I did a full month at 150 and probably half those days were bad and intermixed so it is not like I ever felt 'better'. Not sure why I reduced it more. I guess I thought it can't be worse. lol DH thinks I will 'get over it' but he isn't one who even 'believes' that anti depressants work. He thinks by sheer will I will feel better. We shall see I guess!

HOpe everyone is doing well!
