Cycling in June?

I graduated to IVF after another failed IUI. In fact, I'm waiting for AF to arrive and she's not cooperating. I stopped taking the progesterone supplements 5 days ago and all I've done is a little spotting yesterday. Anyway, as soon as she gets it together I can start the BCPs on CD3. I'm more than a little scared of this but since we really decided to take this plunge, I'm eager to get going! We've been TTC for 3 years and have had one m/c...I'm ready for a triumph!

BCPs for 21 days (I guess?) and then on to lupron. Who's with me?

I don't think it's a big deal about you telling them a day off. I'll be curious if they have you stop the pills a day early or just have you shift the first u/s and first med date to one day later. I suspect they will do the latter.
I'm glad you are feeling better about things and had a nice weekend with your DH! If only we could bottle the tranquil times and pull them out when we need them!

BTW, where does everyone live? I'm in Wisconsin. And, yes, definately FX For all of us!!!!

I'm in sunny (HOT) Florida. My RE is about an hr away too. Its actually a clinic of 5 doctors. I have a main one who I have all my consults with. But on "d-day" for all my IUIs, and even for my ER and ET, if it is a weekend, it would be who ever is on call.

I live in Oklahoma. My "home clinic" is about 20 min away. That's where we did our first 2 fresh cycles and our successful FET. I love, love, love this clinic! Unfortunately, we were on the donor embryo waiting list there for about 6 months and there just wasn't anything coming available, so we switched to a clinic in Dallas (5 hours away) that had

Today it feels like Florida here. 99 degrees and humid! I had lots of appointments today. Started the day with my RE's office. She was barely in with the u/s wand and was back out saying my right side isn't doing much (apparently the bigger follie on there from last Friday is gone) and my left side is doing alot, so she said we're doing good still, but there were no follies big enough to measure, which has me a little concerned. Then she upped my Follistim to the highest the dosing pen will go, 450 units! I'm thinking I may not be responding as well as I have in the past, but I'm staying positive that she knows what to do to get me there. At least there isn't a large follie on my right side screwing up the works by advancing too fast and not letting others catch up. I see her again Thursday. I need to email her though because on this new dose, I will only have one dose left on Thursday and I imagine she'll need me to stay on it past then. I'm finally done spotting, which is nice too and my bbs no longer hurt since AF finally fully came after stopping the bcp. My acupuncture appointment was different since I'm in the stimming part of the cycle. Hopefully that will support good egg growth!

Chouli, yay for getting started! 1 week!!

Wow, Lauren, 5 hours! I need to stop complaining. I'm glad you can get the in between monitoring done close to you. So the OK clinic calls your results from each appt to TX and they then make all the cycle decisions?

I will definitely stop complaining about having to drive through Orlando rush hour traffic to get to my appts...you have to fly there!

Do you mind if I ask about the donor embryos? Do you have guidelines about the parents or is it a first come first served basis. My RE says if we have extra to freeze and don't want to implant them later, we can donate.

Chouli,

To get on the list for donor embryos, each couple has to have all of the disease and hormone testing that anyone going through IVF has to have. I think most clinics also require a psych consult to see if the couple has any hang-ups about the child not being biologically theirs. As far as
