Can't help you on the exercise portion...I don't! Chasing my 18 month old is enough for me...plus I have a thyroid issues that causes me to burn TWICE what I take in. I will say this....during my IVF's..I typically went from 117-118 at strt...up to about 125. This is mainly because of the "bloat" from the injections....... and eventually it drops off. The First IVF...I was Pregnant with Triplets...so it never came Off until after the baby was born. It is the usual kind of period weight.....for those that do gain it or become bloated or hperstimulated.
Caffeine.....well...here is what I always do. I drink Half Caff/Half Decaf coffee. And Although I will occassionally indulge in a diet coke....I try to stick to Diet Sprite (Sprite), Diet orange (orange) or root beer/Ginger ale....they have no caffeine or Very LOW caffeine.

Before my cycle I worked out 5-6 days a week, cardio and weights. During BCPs you can do whatever you want. During stims your ovaries are getting so big that working out can cause ovarian torsion, which is very painful. I did a little light weight lifting during stims but not much. I got OHSS so I didn't get back to the gym until about 6 weeks along but then worked 4-5 days a week until I was 38 weeks pregnant.
I cut out caffeine before my cycle and am still not drinking it because I'm still nursing.

No exercise limitations until you start stims
