I so feel your pain. I was the same way. I posted some of the details of it to Chris today on the sister board. All I can say is that it will be so worth it in the end. It makes life pretty ruff for now though. I am so sorry, I wish I could share magic potion with you. Being that sick was one of the hardest things I had to deal with. I felt a little robbed of my pregnancy. Know your not alone. Vent away when you have to.
What week are you all stopping PIO? Are you doing other forms of progesterone? I can't stop PIO until 10weeks and stay on suppositories til 12. I may ask the obgyn about that though.....seems others are stopping it earlier. When are your next appts? My obgyn said I could come as often as I want to, so I figured every other week would be good, now I'm wishing I made an appt next week to have another u/s.........just want the reassurance of seeing the HB again.
As far as testing, they are doing the blood work and U/S for downs, but my donor was 25, so the chances of downs are pretty low. They didn't mention any other testing.
I am feeling really good for the most part. Some nausea, food aversions, breast changing and hurt. But no vomiting and the extreme fatigue seem to be getting better.
Hi everyone, I am starting to feel a little better, but am still on the m/s meds for now. I have another obgyn appt this morning. We saw the heartbeat again last week and will hopefully see it getting even stronger today. They have told me I can come as often as I want for u/s, but I may start cutting back! None of my clothes fit, I had to go shopping over the weekend just to get clothes to wear to work. I am usually a size 4 and had to buy size 8 pants. It feels like such a waste of money, but I am not ready for maternity clothes yet and I had to have things to wear! Ugh. I am able to stop PIO and estrogen patches on Friday and I am SO excited!! The obgyn nurse recommended staying on the progesterone suppositories for a couple more weeks since the placenta doesn't start producing progesterone until week 12, so I guess I'll do that and use the lovenox, but that's all!!! :). I am also hoping to start my vitamins again soon, I just haven't been able to tolerate them, but obgyn said that it isn't critical to take them now, so I guess I won't stress about it! Hope everyone else is doing well!
Thanks Chris! Had another ultrasound today, heartbeat was 182! :) and it actually looks like a baby now.....cute little feet and arms and it was wiggling all over the place! Next ultrasound is next thursday and if all is still well I think w are going to tell my parents over the weekend, but no one else at this point (although it may be pretty obvious by just looking at me!!). For the first time I actually feel excited!
