i had my 2nd icsi transfer on 19/6/03, 1st icsi failed with early miscarriage :-( i'm gonna hav my pregnancy test on 7/7. now i'm having slight lower abdominal pain left or right and on & off. is it normal? hope turns out perfect and success for whole 9 mths. cant afford to lose it again. very worry & stressful. has anyone being prescribed cyclogest 400 (progesterone pessary) and aspirin 100mg after transfer? i also hear that drinking plenty water can help prevent pregnancy difficulties, is it true?

I am also scheduled for my first blood test on 7/7 so I will be thinking of you and praying for you. I had my transfer on 2/23/03. We have a beautiful boy (14 months)from our first cycle and I am trying to remember what I felt like after transfer that time. It's amazing how you forget. I am also feeling slight cramps during the day, other than this I feel totally normal. I wish there were more "signs". I am not lifting my son, although, I am walking around, rocking him, and playing with him. I am working from home during the week am off my feet most of the day from Monday - Friday since the transfer. Are you changing your daily routines at all? Do you remember what it felt like last time after transfer.

I am so sorry to hear about your first loss. Only good thoughts this time around and lots of baby dust to you.

During my last pregnancy my Doctor told me to drink 4 liters of water/day. This is suppose to help keep any swelling down, help flush system, and decrease chances of hypertension.

Please keep in touch. I'd love to hear "if you feel pregnant".

thanks so much, virginia. i'm so glad that you replied. i really need someone to talk to, especilly with my stressed emotion. 1st of all, congratulation to your 1st attempt. it's sure such blessed one. definitely thos 2nd will be no problem. hey, why are they so many baby dust around your name? :-)

let introduce myself 1st, i'm chinese and my name is doris aged 31 yrs. i'm from brunei (president clinton attended apec in our country few years back, recalled?)so, i guess you must be surprised with the odd hour.

ok, it's normal to feel slight cramps here & there and on & off b4 pt. but it's freaking me out. i remembered i felt that too during my 1st attempt. to be honest, my 1st attempt was actually positive. well, being a stubborn (not listening to my doc's advices) and being a active person, i bled and miss 'it' after 2 weeks. now, i'm totally obedient. i took 6 weeks unpaid leave and strict home bound. now most of the time, i sit or lie on sofa and watch tv.

do you have any 'sign' like breast pain, nausea, implantation bleeding & etc?

i'm sorry for asking too many questions. i ned to know to make it a successful full 9-mths pregnancy. once again, thanks for your reply. BABY DUSTS TO BOTH OF US!!!

take care
