follistim without trigger shot

not sure if this is the right place to ask this but my RE's nurse said next cycle we may do follistim without a trigger shot. i though you always needed a trigger shot with this med. i O on my own but RE has been using this and or femara mix to promote more and stronger follies .
anyone know if this can be done without the trigger? if so will it delay my normal O time frame? my cycle is usually like clockwork 28 dyas O pon CD 12-14. with meds its been pushed to 30-32- days with O on cd 17-19. going by u/s and blood work.
TIA
she said that i will do 300 starting cd2 for about 8 days then see where we are. does that make sense.
i know its not for IVF and that i'm probably in the wrong board but since its nout for IUI i figured you ladies would know more about these protocols.... everything looks good i don't know why i'm not getting pregnant and its so frustrating! it used to be that every 3-4 months it would happen albeit it would end in a loss. since i started with the RE back in july last year nothing! i get that because i'm minus a tube my chances are diminished especially because it seems my body like to O in the same place for 2 months then switch over to the other side...i'm sorry i'm just venting, and this follistim cycle is our last medicated cycle before going back to just us. can't afford more OOP since the insurance change.
meds while pregnant : Lovenox 40mg 1x day ~ 5 mg folic acid ~ 100 mg each of B6 & B12 and of course progesterone inserts 200mg 1x a day

Definitely ask your doctor or nurse about the protocol! I highly encourage asking questions of anything you don't understand or want to know more about!!
I would love to know how this kind of cycle works, so if you get more info from your RE, please update!!
Thanks, and good luck!!
