I have a question, My lupron shot is due in about 5 minutes and I found it sitting on my table which means that when I had asked my husband to put it back in the fridge yesterday morning HE DIDNT. I know it has to be chilled. I tried calling pharmacy, but they are closed... does anyone know if i am ok to use it still?

I know the side said keep warmer than 77 and to be honest our house has been about 65.. so its not warm. please anyone.... help!!!!

I think it will be fine I never put my shot in the fridge at all and never had a bad side effect.

me either, my lupron has always stayed out of the fridge, so im sure you should be fine!

I know I am getting in on this late....but the same issue happened to me during my cycle. I called the after hours line at our phamacy and this is what they said.


The reason they tell you to keep it cold is to reduce the chance of bacteria. Since it is used for multiple injections, by keeping it in the fridge it reduces the chance of bacteria forming on the bottle and potentially getting inside thru one of the holes created by the constant needle puncture.


So basically...the medicine will not go bad.
