Hi everyone,

Its been 9 years since I was on iVillage reading everyone's posts and thinking about IVF. I wish I could remember my old log in but it doesn't matter now. Here is the SHORT of my story. Back in 2003, after 5 years of trying to conceive naturaly I went to a specialist to find that both of my tubes were badly damaged due to endometriosis and could not be repaired, they were removed at that time and I began the IVF process immediately. I was 26 years old, I don't remember all of the meds or any of that, but I was sucessful and currently have 8 y/o twin boys. My husband and I have decided we would like to add just 1 more to the bunch. The difference now is that my job then covered 100% of the IVF and the meds, all I paid were copays.

Now we have been saving for 2 years to finally afford to do IVF, and quite honestly I have the worst anxiety every about this whole situation. I am usually the one encouraging everyone else, but this time I haven't told anyone, because I dont want to deal with explanations if there are any complications. Any positive advice is helpful. I will be doing my day 3 blood work tomorrow and I will also begin the bc's. I don't remember all of the short terms, so bear with me please.

Already my menstrual is acting weird. Usually it just comes on, light

Welcome back Kiki! Sorry AF is acting weird. Were you put on birth control pills this last month? I know that can seriously effect AF. Between your u/s and b/w tomorrow on CD3 they will be able to tell what's going on. A light AF usually means you are plenty down regulated...which is great.

Sorry you don't have insurance this time around =( We were in the same spot when TTC#1 and I know how stressful it is.

Good luck!
