I wish Oprah or someone would do a show on blood clots and the problems with them.

What a very scary situation. So glad you are doing better! We hear risks when we start meds, etc, but it is so easy to think that "it won't happen to me." I have a friend who almost died from blood clots in the brain as well (unrelated to IVF). So scary that it can happen to people so young!! We always think of a stroke as something that happens to an older person. Thanks for sharing your story. It is good to remember that risks are mentioned for a reason... because they happened to someone.

Good luck with your foster/adoption plans and I hope you continue to recover back to 100%.
