Happy the did the b/w. Did they also do an u/s? At 10-11 weeks of pregnancy the placenta takes over the production of hormones and you're OHSS will no longer have fuel. For me it was the worst for two weeks beginning at 3 days post transfer. The blood thinners and high dose antihistamines I was on 3x a day really, really helped and they were started at 7dpo (same time as paresentisis). Hope you feel better and better!!!

Sorry for falling off the end of the earth for a while but I really had a difficult time after my last appt. I was devastated. My RE was adamant that the baby was gone and I saw the heartbeat taking a couple of beats then flatlining on the ultrasound. I went for a second opinion today and the baby had a nice steady heartbeat but low - only 96.8 beats. Baby is also measuring a week behind. I'm praying that the baby just implanted late. This new dr thinks the heart may have just started beating at my last appointment explaining the stopping and starting. I have another ultrasound on Friday morning with my normal RE. I'm praying that the heartbeat gets over 100 by then and the growth measures better.
Hope you guys are all doing well and making good progress.

Elizabeth,

I am so glad to hear that the baby's hb is steady. I wouldn't worry about it being low, they start off slower and pick up. And, I also don't think you should stress about the smaller measurements. My son consistently measured several days behind up until I was about 12 weeks. They are soooo small at this point and if the measurement is off just a bit, it can seem like quite a lot. Hang in there!! Hopefully on your appt Friday, you will get an even better reassurance that things are going okay with your little one.

Taresa ~ Sorry about your migranes! So exciting that transfer is almost here *WOO-HOO* A mid September transfer would be an early June due date. My DD's transfer was on Sept 17 and she was born May 29th so if it works we're looking at almost identical timing =)

Elizabeth ~ What a huge relief that u/s must have been =) Hope the one on Friday puts the rest of your fears to rest!!!

LJ ~ Happy to hear everything with your blood work was normal, that's awesome!!!

AFM (Caryn) ~ Started BCPs yesterday - they are making me very sick to my stomach today. I'm on Desogen...anyone know if I should expect to feel sick the whole time I'm on them or only while adjusting to them? Have I mentioned how annoyed I am the natural cycle in July was cancelled!? ;-)

Happy birthday Chris ! Hope ure feeling well ! Hope everyone else is doing well too sorry im a little too upset to go through a whole post As I've said I've been having migraines with my esterace, I had tr same reaction to bcp years ago the synthetic estrogen gives my high blood pressure. Last night it was 185/98. I called my nurse. After my u/s which my lining was 17mm (to thick apparently) I asked to talk to my nurse where she said my cycle will be cancelled and they will likely be unable to do any FET due to my intolerance to the esterace. I am not a candidate for a natural FET. They're going too call me later for the final decision but this is likely the end of the road for us. We could never afford another fresh cycle were still paying back the first one. I'm truelly devastated and while so very thankful for my DD I'm sad she'll likely never have a sibling. Prayers are appreciated right now. I wish I could just sedate myself

Oh my. I am so sorry that you got such devastating news in such a distressing way. I can't imagine that there is any good way to hear it. Do you think you might get a second opinion? Why is a natural FET not right for you?

Will be praying. {{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}

Thanks for your thoughts... There's really only one other clinic close their FET rates are horrible. As for a natural cycle I have pretty severe PCOS I never have ovulatory cycles and my hormones are pretty messed up . I'm still waiting to hear back from my clinic for a final word but we really cant afford to try this and that. I'm just sad- thank u again for thinking of me

Taresa ~ I'm so sorry your lining was too thick and your BP is high {{{HUGS}}} Hopefully your RE comes up with a new FET protocol that s/he would be willing to try. Sometimes those nurses can be debbie downers so you're not done just yet. Maybe scheduling something in person with your RE where you could explore options might be good? Sending you lots of good thoughts!!!!

Taresa - Im so sorry..  I'm sure there is something they can do another fform estrogen.  Are you doing pathces or shots or oral pills? ..  with so many different drugs and protocols I can't believe that this is all they can do for you.  I hope you get some answers.  For my cycle i did deloestrogen which is an IM shot.. i only do .4 ml which is a very low dosage.

We did a vaginal esterace tapered up to 4 mg a day over 15 days. They called me back and said if I'm cleared by my pcp they will try to cycle me on it for 6 days instead of 15 and feel it would be ok since my lining was SO thick. It was 14mm with my fresh transfer so I must just really react to the esterace
