Happy birthday Chris ! Hope ure feeling well ! Hope everyone else is doing well too sorry im a little too upset to go through a whole post As I've said I've been having migraines with my esterace, I had tr same reaction to bcp years ago the synthetic estrogen gives my high blood pressure. Last night it was 185/98. I called my nurse. After my u/s which my lining was 17mm (to thick apparently) I asked to talk to my nurse where she said my cycle will be cancelled and they will likely be unable to do any FET due to my intolerance to the esterace. I am not a candidate for a natural FET. They're going too call me later for the final decision but this is likely the end of the road for us. We could never afford another fresh cycle were still paying back the first one. I'm truelly devastated and while so very thankful for my DD I'm sad she'll likely never have a sibling. Prayers are appreciated right now. I wish I could just sedate myself

Taresa ~ Sorry about your migranes! So exciting that transfer is almost here *WOO-HOO* A mid September transfer would be an early June due date. My DD's transfer was on Sept 17 and she was born May 29th so if it works we're looking at almost identical timing =)

Elizabeth ~ What a huge relief that u/s must have been =) Hope the one on Friday puts the rest of your fears to rest!!!

LJ ~ Happy to hear everything with your blood work was normal, that's awesome!!!

AFM (Caryn) ~ Started BCPs yesterday - they are making me very sick to my stomach today. I'm on Desogen...anyone know if I should expect to feel sick the whole time I'm on them or only while adjusting to them? Have I mentioned how annoyed I am the natural cycle in July was cancelled!? ;-)

Elizabeth,

I am so glad to hear that the baby's hb is steady. I wouldn't worry about it being low, they start off slower and pick up. And, I also don't think you should stress about the smaller measurements. My son consistently measured several days behind up until I was about 12 weeks. They are soooo small at this point and if the measurement is off just a bit, it can seem like quite a lot. Hang in there!! Hopefully on your appt Friday, you will get an even better reassurance that things are going okay with your little one.

Sorry for falling off the end of the earth for a while but I really had a difficult time after my last appt. I was devastated. My RE was adamant that the baby was gone and I saw the heartbeat taking a couple of beats then flatlining on the ultrasound. I went for a second opinion today and the baby had a nice steady heartbeat but low - only 96.8 beats. Baby is also measuring a week behind. I'm praying that the baby just implanted late. This new dr thinks the heart may have just started beating at my last appointment explaining the stopping and starting. I have another ultrasound on Friday morning with my normal RE. I'm praying that the heartbeat gets over 100 by then and the growth measures better.
Hope you guys are all doing well and making good progress.

Happy the did the b/w. Did they also do an u/s? At 10-11 weeks of pregnancy the placenta takes over the production of hormones and you're OHSS will no longer have fuel. For me it was the worst for two weeks beginning at 3 days post transfer. The blood thinners and high dose antihistamines I was on 3x a day really, really helped and they were started at 7dpo (same time as paresentisis). Hope you feel better and better!!!

LG ~ So sorry to hear you are miserable! OHSS had me flat on my back for 10 days so I totally hear ya. Are you still having normal urine output? If not, go to the ER. Are you extremely light headed or faint? If so, go to the ER. How much weight have you gained? If it's over 5 lbs go to the ER. I think with this type of thing it's better safe than sorry, they can do an u/s pretty quick and get an idea of how much free fluid you have in your abdomen. I ended up with a paracentesis but avoided a hospital stay...hopefully you avoid both. Please KUP!

LJ, I would say go to the ER if you are not improving. There are things they can give you to make you less miserable and you may need to have fluid removed. You don't want to wait and then find yourself admitted to the hospital because you waited and it got that much worse.

Elizabeth- I'm praying for u and ur bean everyday that's pretty early for a HB hoping next time there will be no doubt this LO will make it through !

LJ- waiting is usually never a good idea. I cant tell u how many times I've worked in the ER and people so well I've had chest pain for 3 days but I wanted to wait and see if it got better. No good. If u get short of breath can't walk up stairs with ou stopping or aren't peeing very much do not wait anymore if. If you get swelling in ur legs that pits when you push on it just go. I know the ER is annoying but better safe than sorry severe Ohss is nothing to mess with. On a better note increasing ohss probably means a healthy growing pregnancy !

Caryn- mid September sounds awesome ! Where does that put a due date ? Early June ?

Chris- how are u feeling any more betas? Can't wait for ur u/s

AFM- continuing esterace really tired of the blue mess it creates and I've been getting migraines from it yuck ! U/ s Wednesday and if lining looks good transfer Saturday.... Wow can't believe it's so close

Chris ~ How are you? Did you decide to wait for the u/s or will you be doing another beta? With your last one being so close to average I really think you're safe...but I totally get not being able to wait =) How is your back feeling? Do you ever see a chiropractor? That's usually what I do when mine acts up.

LG ~ Feeling ok? Hope the OHSS symptoms aren't getting any worse.

Elizabeth ~ Sorry the u/s wasn't more comforting. Hopefully your little beans heart rate was just getting started and will be a nice steady rate when you see it next!

AFM (Caryn) ~ AF has decided to grace me with her presence today so operation FET #2 is underway. I will go in Monday for monitoring and start BCPs. Lupron will begin a couple weeks later and transfer should be mid Sept. According to my calculations it'll be Sept 14 but I'm awaiting an official protocol sheet from the nurse. That of course assumes my lining builds as needed and such. Excited to get the ball rolling again!!!

Thanks for the update, Chris. I've been thinking about her and wondering about how things went for the ultrasound. Really hope it was just the equipment and that she gets a much better report next week. Will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
