Hi ladies. I'm Lisa, and I've been on a TTC journey for 3 1/2 years now. I used to be the CL of the TTC Over 35 board, which is now closed. I've been seeing an RE for two years now, and have gone through 5 IUI's, resulting in 2 losses. I was diagnosed with MTHFR and PAI-1 after the second IUI loss. I'm on a daily baby aspirin and extra folic acid to help combat the clotting disorders. After the last IUI we decided to take a break from TTC and re-evaluate everything. After a bit DH and I decided that our family doesn't feel complete, so here we are.
I had a LAP July 11 to remove a large (10cm) cyst from my R ovary and to clean out any endo. At my post-op appt, the RE started me on bc in the hopes of being part of her September cycle. FX! I should start stims in late August or early September, the cycle retrieval and transfer dates are Sept 10-28.
Even though I've been around the block so to say with IUI's, does anyone have any specific advice on how to cope with the stress of IVF? I live in the middle of nowhere (literally, I drive 2.5 hours one way to the closest RE), so acupuncture, etc aren't options for me.
Thanks, and I look forward to getting to 'know' everyone.
