not again??

We switched last year to DE and had 3 chemical pg's.  Just did another DE cycle, and while I got a bfp, my numbers and u/s are concerning.  Here is where I'm at (1 fresh blast trasferred):

beta #1 - 152   15dpo

beta #2 - 238   18dpo

beta #3 - 783   21dpo

beta # 4- 1831   24dpo

Had first u/s today (24dpo), and tech said "oh, we are measuring small...."; she said sac only measured 4w5d (around 4-5 mm) vs the 5w3d I should be based on transfer date; no yolk sac, etc. seen.  Given that my #'s were slow to start, and after the u/s today, I am freaking out, thinking maybe a blighted ovum??  I don't want to go through this again.  Going back on Monday for another u/s, but couldn't this just be a late implanter or something?  Based on your experiences, should I be really concerned at this point???

Me: 36 DH: 35 TTC for 6 + years.  2007-2011: 3 fresh IVF and 2 FET with own eggs; all BFN.  2011-2012: Switched to DE; 3 chemical pg's.  2013: Moved to TX; starting DE cycle w/new RE.

I ended up moving my appt to today (Thurs) b/c I couldn't take the waiting.  This is such insanity b/c my hcg was only up to 3100 (from 2500 3 days ago), but there was a h/b of 91 bpm.  Nurse said to just keep on my meds, and we'll see what happens.  Going back on Monday for another check....

Sorry I didn't see this earlier!  Your first two betas didn't double but maybe it was a vanishing twin because your other betas look good.  Remember that they don't double every 48-72 hrs once they are over 1000 - doubling times slow.  The measurements are so crazy small early on that I wouldn't be worried about the 1st u/s measuring a little off.  Implantation timing or slight measurement mistakes could account for that.  The fact that you're seeing a fetal pole and yolk sac are both very good signs.  To me things sound pretty positive =)  Good luck on Friday and please KUP!

Although the u/s was looking better (sac increased a lot in size, and they saw a yolk sac and fetal pole), my bloodwork came back and hcg is only up to 2515 (from 1831 4 days ago).  So now things are clearer, I guess :(  They still want me to continue my meds and check again on Friday, but I know the drill at this point.

The numbers are a bit concerning.  How was your ultrasound today?  Sending you lots of P&PTs,  please let us know.
