is at a plateau at 26.3. A "chemical" pregnancy I guess. So I've got all the sadness out of my system, now I need to think about moving to IVF#2. My Dr. will call me this afternoon to discuss next steps. I'm hoping I can make the May cycle because they don't cycle in June. I don't want to have to wait until July! Thank you to everyone for your P&PTs. I wished it was a slow starter too, but not meant to be this time. Thanks again.

Jen - I am sorry that this was not the cycle for you. I am hoping that time will heal your sadness and you can start fresh soon.

Jenn:

I'm so sorry to hear your news. I had something similar happen with my last non-IVF cycle in September. My numbers kept rising, but not nearly doubling (47, 51, 76, 99) so I had to have the methotrexate shot in case it was ectopic. If you need to go that route, it's really not that bad. I was very nervous and it turned out to be no big deal - much easier than a D&E (I've had 3 of those for early losses). I hope you are able to resolve this and move on to a fresh cycle in May - Good luck!

Oh Jenn,

I am SO sorry. What a long, drawn-out disappointment too. :-(((((

I really hope they can get you in the May cycle (and that maybe Dr. A has a plan to get you more follies next time - it would be nice for you to start with higher odds!)

I hope you'll still keep in touch with me - I'll be looking for good news for you next time (and hope that'll be May - July is definitely too long to have to wait!)

((((hugs))))
