Hi All,

I just started my stimulation medicine and was hoping to talk to the other women who are going through the cycle the same time.

Vicky, 32 - PCOS and need IVF w/PGD / IXCI

Hi Vicky,

Thanks for starting a "buddy" group. I wondered if there were many others around who are on track with me! I know of a couple, but glad to hear from you! I started Lupron 2 nights ago. It's going ok so far... I stop my pill on Saturday. I'll start Follistim sometime next week. I am looking for the 1st-2nd week of December for retrieval!

I am right on track with you all. This will be our first IVF cycle. It is nice to find others who are in the same boat.

Hey, ladies! I just did ER yesterday in my first IVF cycle, hoping one or two of my five I have today will make it to transfer on Monday! If you have any questions, please ask...I'm starting to feel like an ivf veteran by now. :)
KayLa (36)... so many fertility issues betweeen DH and I. Diagnosed with Hashimoto's.
TTC naturally since June 2009
IVF #1 November 2010...BFP....early M/C
FET #1 April 2011...BFP...beta 10, 29, 460.
Heartbeat seen via u/s.

How well you're stimming is kind of based on things like how old you are and how much stim you're taking. It sounds very good to me, but I'm old, almost 36, and was on a high dose of stim, 450 units of Follistim daily. My follies grew slow and only on my last u/s did I have 14. They retrieved 12 eggs with only 8 or so of those being mature and eventually only 5 fertilized normally. It's so individual, but as you can see, compared to me, you're doing very well!

I think that 12 sounds great.
