Hi Mindy,

Holy cow, that's a lot of eggs retrieved.

Hello ladies! Where is everybody? It's been a quiet week! :)

I had my egg retrieval yesterday. What a roller coaster of emotions the last 24 hours has been. They retrieved 47 eggs, 41 mature enough to fertilize. Because of the large number, they had to use ICSI to fertilize. So, I was thrilled about having sooo many eggs, but then they told me that I am at high risk for OHSS.

Hi ladies!!

I had another ultrasound today. It showed that I have many follicles, they stopped counting at 13. All 13 of those are above 10mm, the highest being 14mm. They said that they found many other measurable ones, but the tech would be there all day if she had to count them. :) That was nice to hear! Since they aren't mature enough yet, they've increased my Follistim from 150mg back to 225mg for the next 2 nights, still including my Lupron and Repronex. I go back Tuesday the 7th for another ultrasound and they expect me to be ready. I'm guessing my retrieval date will be Dec 9 or 10. Anyway, I'm still hanging in here and anxious for the day this stupid Repronex shot is over!! It makes me so sore!! :)

How is everyone else doing?!

~Mindy

Hello all,

I see a bunch of us will be having retrievals the second week of December (next week) yeah! This is my third cycle and so far it is "by far" my best cycle (as quoted by my RE). Not sure why this cycle is going so much better than the first two, but I guess it couldn't have gotten much worse. My best cycle is probably someone else's worst cycle, but I will take what I can get. My RE has actually been reducing my meds, I am now at 200 Follistim and 150 Menopur (2 vials).

Hi Everyone,

Looks like a couple new ladies have joined in since I was on last. It's nice to have a good sized group to be able to compare stories and share support.

I started my stims Friday. I had my first u/s yesterday and had 4 small follicles on each side. My next u/s is Thursday and praying for a lot more follies and growth so we have a successful ER. It is what it is though so trying not to stress too much and as you all know that is easier said than done. I think my ER is tentatively scheduled for the 2nd week of December if all goes as planned.

Looking forward to getting to know you ladies...I've been here a long time (unfortunately) so hopefully I can help with any questions you might have.

Carolyn
